Leading Lady Dr. Tamara E. Jernigan,
became the fifth woman to spacewalk on her fifth trip to space when she visited the International Space Station. She helped repair a crane, requiring that she spacewalk twice one day. She is an Astrophysicist, and she served as a Flight Engineer, a Mission Specialist and Payload Commander on her flights. One of her flights is considered to be historic, as it was the first flight with three female crew members. Learn more about Tammy, and why her work is incredibly impressive!
