She may have been considered to be lucky by many in her life, as Marie was able to live until her late 80's. However, her longevity also meant that she experienced the loss of many of her friends and colleagues to radium poisoning. Marie maintained her dedication to the fight against U.S. Radium, despite leaving her job as a dial painter. She was a member of the group who filed suit agains Luminous Paint, continuing the fight to the Supreme Court. Learn how this brave group of dial painters changed history.
